Little Shed Creations is part of Evolution Tech Services Ltd. Evolution Tech Services Ltd is a small family Engineering/Product design business ran by husband-and-wife Steve & Lisa. Set up in March 2013 in our garden shed we have slowly grown and expanded into different things over the years and now are in our dedicated workshop and office in Billingham, Teesside. Little Shed Creations is our dedicated non-metal laser cutting part of the business which focuses on bespoke laser cutting, customisable gifts, decorations, and wedding items.
The 'Little Shed Creations' name and the logo were created to tell a story that represented us. ‘Little Shed’ refers to the roots of the company and the early years in the little garden shed in our back garden ‘creating’ designs and coming up with many of the ideas we sell today. The logo shows a silhouette of a man and a woman reaching up to a heart representing myself and Lisa and the love we share for each other and the passion for what we do. The flowers in the logo again refer to our roots.
Steve is an Engineering/product designer with over 20 years’ experience in a number of industries. Most of the design work and the day to day running within Little Shed is the role of Steve.
Lisa is a care worker working in a Challenging Behaviour Unit. As our Head of the Shed she does the decorating, cutting, assembly, some design work, research and advises on trends or upcoming seasonal items. As we have grown in reputation and we have moved on, Lisa is having more involvement. She is currently doing a Creative Enterprise course at college to allow her to take over more of the running of Little Shed and to enable us to provide an even better service and even better products than before.
Little Shed Creations is 100% a family business with all of the family having some involvement no matter how small, from our youngest daughter producing sketches which are used in designs we currently sell, to our eldest two kids promoting and pushing what we do and who we are.
We try where possible to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Where possible the Acrylic we use is 100% recycled. We reuse packaging where possible and from 2022 we are going to try and use packaging materials made from shredded cardboard and paper that we have saved up. We have switched our energy supplier to one which provides sustainable energy and we have also moved to sending out thank you cards with our purchases which can be planted to grow wild flowers. We will continue to look for better alternatives where possible to make us planet friendly.
